We were thrilled to accept the invitation from ICT and our Lisbon partners Beta-i to organise a Seedcamp Meet & Greet during the ICT conference this October.

Having already invested in great Portuguese companies such as Hole19Crowd ProcessCodacy, Popcorn MetricsZercatto and HOKO, it was a no brainer, we had to say yes!

At Seedcamp we get excited by great founders with big visions. From the beginning we’ve been sector agnostic and whilst this certainly isn’t changing there are industries grabbing our interest, one of them being FoodTech.

Having invested in ProntoWinnow and Farmhopping, we’re keen to deep dive into this space, hear from some exceptional players and discover more startups operating in it. In order for us to do this we’re partnering with the pioneering Food Startup School and the first ever London Food Tech Week (LFTW). LFTW is all about facilitating disruption, tackling challenges in food and agriculture by bringing together the big and small players.

Format

Together with London Food Tech Week we’ll be hosting an event on Tuesday 20th October from 6pm taking place at Campus London.

We’ll select up to 10 startups to present to a panel made up of investors and sector experts. We’re looking for inspirational startups to join the Seedcamp family who are the next Unicorns in FoodTech.

London Food Tech Week will also highlight the innovators, movers and shakers of the ecosystem. For more details about the week visit their website.

Attend the event

If you’re interested in joining the event as an audience member please register here and we’ll confirm your place by mid-October.
