Malcolm is an expert in consumer growth marketing, performance marketing and your pre-launch marketing strategy for consumer brands, mobile apps, web based and physical products. He’s an award winning, serial entrepreneur and investor, starting digital companies since he was 13 in 1994.

He bootstrapped his E-commerce pure play brand to $40ml in sales in the first 18 months, selling 1 million products to customers in 135 countries. For that, he won the National Business Award in 2012 for Best E-Commerce Strategy and is featured in a Harvard Business School Case Study.

He knows email marketing, SEO, social media, social ads, viral mechanics, lead generation, CPC and all the ways to get acquisition, activation, retention, referral and revenue.

Malcolm’s last cloud tech startup was backed by $2,8ml in capital from Seedcamp, Octopus Investments, Bessemer Venture Partners and high profile angels, so he knows a thing or two about raising venture capital as well (also because he used to manage money for family offices investing into VC and Private Equity funds).

He’s also a Guest Expert in Residence at Harvard Business School and has been a Growth Hacker at Facebook. He regularly speaks/teaches at events for Oxford University’s Oxford Inspires event at Said Business School, for Google’s Squared Program and at Facebook … he even did a Tedx Talk too. Malcolm graduated from the London school of Economics in 2005.
