I joined Seedcamp in September 2020. I work across Finance, including investor reporting, fund deployment & analysis, and looking at managing portfolio exits and secondaries.

I qualified as a chartered accountant with EY where I worked in Tech and Media Audit for 3 years. Before that, I studied Economics and Finance at Edinburgh University.

I like working with data, and have always loved statistics particularly focused on sport and behavioural economics. I am overly competitive on a tennis court and a proud early UK adopter of Spikeball.

Hi – I’m Daniel and I’ve spent the last two decades in executive and senior management roles within technology corporates as well as start-ups. I am an operator, advisor and investor with a focus on eCommerce technology, Fintech, Big Data, BI, Analytics, SaaS platforms, and Marketplaces for both B2B and B2C. I have extensive knowledge in investing, fundraising, and scaling high-growth companies including international expansion and have hands-on experience in building, managing, developing and retaining teams.

I’ve been involved with Seedcamp since 2010 as was in the first cohort of mentors. I joined Profitero, one of their portfolio companies, initially as an advisor, then as a non-executive director and later as President and COO and the company enjoyed great success raising more than $34m and expanding into the US, China, Japan and growing to over 300 employees, eventually being acquired by Publicis in June 2022 for $220m.

I have held a number of high profile roles and I was also part of the senior management team at Hitwise which was sold to Experian for $250m in 2007.

Today I advise many start-ups and sit on the board of several companies in the public and private sector including Fintech company Plus500 Plc which floated on the London Stock Exchange in 2013 and today has a market cap of over $2B.

I help Seedcamp’s portfolio companies with all things regarding commercial and business operations and how to scale for success. I have a great global network of senior execs in corporates, start-ups, VC’s, and government that I can tap into to open doors.

Looking forward to working with you as a Venture Partner!

A sense of purpose is infectious — it’s why I love partnering with founders who have an audacious vision for the future. As an Associate, I spend my days searching for Europe’s next generation-defining company and supporting our portfolio across product and GTM.

I graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in commerce (still not quite sure what that means). Prior to joining Seedcamp, I was a Fulbright scholar in Budapest and an intern at Summit Partners.

I grew up in Heidelberg and Washington D.C., and I’m a native German, Hungarian, and English speaker. When not thinking about startups, you will find me podcasting, jogging, and attempting new art projects.

At Seedcamp, I support our awesome startup teams and founding Partners, Reshma, and Carlos. The Seedcamp office is always bustling and full of different people and I work with our portfolio companies to help them set-up their workplaces and support the team in coordinating the many exciting community events and activities we run.

Before joining Seedcamp, I worked for a startup that was later acquired by Forbes and part of an editorial and operations team. Outside of work, I love discovering hipster coffee shops in East London, am a fan of travelling and will start a village house restoration project in my native Paphos, Cyprus in the Fall.

I joined the Seedcamp team in Summer 2018 as Head of Legal to support with legal deal flow, investment execution and legal and regulatory in-house assistance.

My passion has always been technology and I love working with founders who I admire and support them to change the world. Being at the beating heart of the European tech scene is as thrilling as it can get! Every day brings new challenges, new ideas and new paradigms making our work at Seedcamp unforgettable and groundbreaking!

Before Seedcamp, I worked over a decade in the legal profession in Europe and Latin America. My primary focus has been in the Telecommunication and IT industries, getting to see firsthand how these industries operate and are regulated. I also gained hands-on startup experience working as a Partnership Director for fast-growing businesses. This made me live the startup experience from the other side and truly understand what consumers and clients need.

Born and raised in La Paz, Bolivia (the highest capital in the world) in the heart of South America, my curiosity and passion about life fuelled my drive to get involved to help others and always give your best. When I am not working, I am enjoying my two amazing kids, time with friends or running in Hampstead Heath with my husband.

I’m a designer & engineer with 15 years of experience in building products from idea to adoption, usually as the founder. Companies I have founded include Fuzzwich (dead), Lyst (still going), and currently, Useful Books (new!).

I bring this founding experience to investments and support I give our portfolio companies. I help founders navigate early product development, foster a strong customer development process, and help them decide when to dig deep and execute.

So wether you are wrestling with a critical pivot, trying to distill feedback into features, or just need some help figuring out your product onboarding, I’m here to help.

I run all things brand, network strategy and post-investment at Seedcamp, creating the infrastructure and running the team to support our portfolio that stands at over 460+ companies strong. I love discovering and helping to build startups that have the potential to radically change the future and who are shaping the world we want to be a part of.

I’ve worked at international agencies and not-for-profits, but it’s with early-stage startups where I really found my calling. Over the last 10+ years, I’ve held CMO roles at consumer-focused startups across FMCG, retail and Food Tech, so I understand the growing pains that come with joining an early-stage company, as well as how much needs to be done as one of the first marketing hires. I helped build Savse into the fastest growing brand in its category,  building a brand, product, and narrative people loved in an incredibly crowded market. I’ve also experienced the other side and been part of a company (Pronto) that shut down due to lack of funding. I’ve been through the real highs and lows that come with the early-stage – and I still love it!

My passion lies in how we tell compelling stories and I work closely with our companies on how to shape and incentivise teams and how to build products and brands that create an emotional connection with customers and drive commercial growth.

I’m a Londoner born and bred but am always looking for an excuse to escape to warmer climes. I graduated from Oxford University with an MA in French and Spanish and have spent time living in Argentina and France.

When not talking about the power of storytelling or breaking down what a brand actually is, you can find me eating and drinking my way around London or Lisbon, at the gym, singing incessantly, or on a dancefloor.
