In this episode of the Seedcamp Podcast, Dave Haynes is joined by Fred Destin, Partner at Accel to talk through the career path that led to him working at one of the world’s leading VC funds. Fred talks about the key differences he sees between the US and European venture ecosystems and his five years spent serving on the board of Seedcamp.
Fred Destin joined Accel in 2014 and focuses on consumer and software investments. He is the lead investor and board member at Deliveroo, Pillpack and KNC. Prior to Accel, he was a partner at Atlas Ventures where he worked with with companies like Zoopla (public), Secret Escapes, Dailymotion (acquired by Orange), PriceMinister (acquired by Rakuten) and others. Fred grew up in Belgium and graduated from the Solvay Business School (University of Brussels).
