As AI continues to reshape how we work, companies have invested billions into AI infrastructure and models.
Yet, without AI-native training, organisations are struggling to see returns on their investments. Many large-scale organisations find themselves unable to move employees from scrappy, individual experimentation to meaningful transformation – leaving many CEOs questioning whether their expensive enterprise AI licenses were really worth it.
PAIR are working to solve this. They’re building the AI adoption layer for enterprise, helping organisations move from experimentation to everyday, measurable AI usage. We’re thrilled to have taken part in their latest seed round, alongside Venrex and FJ Labs.
Partner Carlos Espinal celebrated the investment: “We invested in PAIR because they turn AI from a generic tool into real, role-specific productivity.”

“By embedding hands-on AI training directly into daily workflows, Pair helps organisations move from experimentation to meaningful, business-critical adoption.”
The PAIR founding team aren’t typical tech founders. Dr James Kuht MBE and Mark James Mitchell are former military technologists, with experience driving technological adoption in some of the world’s most high-pressure, high-stakes environments. PAIR’s customer roster already boasts organisations like PwC, The Ministry of Justice and The Crown Estate, with some PAIR-enabled workforces building over 1,000 agents a quarter.
“Most companies aren’t adopting AI effectively – they’re realising that licence access is not adoption,” said Dr James Kuht MBE, CEO and co-founder of PAIR. “At PAIR, we’re unlocking AI adoption for large organisations already – and we’re excited for the opportunity this seed round gives us to grow our impact much further and faster.”
On selecting their investors, the founders noted: “We were in the fortunate position of growing profitably to £1M ARR run rate last year, so could afford to be selective in our investors – Seedcamp and Venrex were our top picks, and we’re delighted to have them on our cap table.”

With their latest seed round, PAIR will be aiming to expand their reach and accelerate enterprise AI adoption across more organisations.
