Opereit raises $2.5m to fix logistics’ €1 trillion blind spot

03.06.2026

Every year, more than €1 trillion disappears from the global logistics industry.

Not through fraud or theft, but through entirely avoidable errors: carrier overbilling, lost and damaged shipments, and claims processes so manual and convoluted that most companies simply give up on them.

Opereit is the only platform solving this at scale. Today, we’re proud to lead their $2.5m seed round, alongside Yellow, the fund of Glovo founders Oscar Pierre and Sacha Michaud.

Founder Pablo Cousin knows this problem intimately. As part of the founding team at YC-backed REVER, he watched the same patterns repeat every month: “Every month we saw the same black hole. Carriers overcharging, claims that were impossible to track, and money lost in processes that lacked visibility. The problem isn’t operational, it’s structural.

He realised that these problems weren’t unique to his company. They were part of a systemic problem with the logistics industry. So he built Opereit to fix it.

Filing a carrier claim isn’t a simple admin task. It requires context and judgment across emails, portals, and phone calls, which made it genuinely hard to automate.

Generative AI changed that. Opereit’s AI agents now detect invoice errors, identify lost and damaged shipments, and file carrier claims through to resolution, fully autonomously, with no human in the loop.

The results are already striking. In their first audit with Nude Project, Opereit identified over $200,000 in recoverable claims.

“We lacked real visibility into the financial impact of transport incidents. With Opereit, we’ve been able to detect and manage claims much faster – recovering costs and tracking everything far more efficiently.” said Raquel Jiménez, Head of Operations and Customer Experience at Nude Project

Felix Martinez, Principal at Seedcamp shared: “Logistics is one of the last great frontiers for AI automation – carrier billing is where the losses are biggest and the solutions have been weakest.”

“Pablo brings rare insider conviction to this problem, and Opereit is building the foundational platform for how global commerce settles. We couldn’t be more excited to co-lead this round.”
