About me
I joined Seedcamp in 2014 as an intern and have had the chance to grow with the organization over the years. Now, I co-lead our investment team, ensuring we maintain the best sourcing engine to find Europe’s top founders first and support them through the ups and downs of their journey.
I am a Swiss and French citizen with Iranian origins. I grew up in Geneva, spending far too many hours playing Age of Empires II and Football Manager. My passion for technology was sparked early when my father, who was a microchip engineer, took me to his office on weekends.
My studies took me to the UK and Spain. After starting my career at EY and UBS, I realized the corporate world wasn’t for me. I moved to London to immerse myself in the startup scene. Before Seedcamp, I also explored a few entrepreneurial ventures of my own with modest outcomes, which only deepened my admiration for founders who overcome the odds.
At Seedcamp, I was exposed to generational founders very early in my career, through our investments in the likes of Revolut, UiPath, or Pleo. These experiences have profoundly shaped my approach to venture.
When I’m not immersed in the world of startups, you can find me frequently traveling, occasionally hiking a far-off mountain peak, passionately supporting my favorite football teams, Servette FC and PSG, and indulging in my love for chocolate.
From Day One
Our most successful founders share a relentless drive and sense of urgency, driving their teams to move faster, experiment, and learn continuously. This quality is something I actively seek in the entrepreneurs we back at Seedcamp.
My interests are broad, ranging from fintech to open source, crypto, and more generally, businesses that leverage data to disrupt large, traditional industries.
I have a deep appreciation for Europe and its values, which is why Seedcamp’s mission resonates so strongly with me. I’ve been investing all across the continent, but as the Frenchie of the team, I’ve also spent a bit more time building our coverage of France as a key geography. Europe has an incredibly diverse talent pool, and some of the most technically gifted founders of our time call it home.
