Introducing the newest teams in the Seedcamp portfolio

We are very excited to welcome six fantastic new startups to the Seedcamp portfolio, taking our total number of companies backed to over 230.

The companies – originating from South Africa, the US and the UK – are building groundbreaking propositions across HealthTech, FinTech, FoodTech, EdTech, LegalTech and AI. We’ll be supporting these teams and preparing them to scale through our lifelong platform of learning and introductions to our vast network of investors and mentors.

Carlos Espinal, Partner at Seedcamp, commented: “We’re very excited by the outstanding quality of applications we continue to see, proof that the startup ecosystem shows no signs of slowing down. We continue to think ‘founder first’ in our sector agonistic approach, backing entrepreneurs and teams with the ideas that have the potential to develop into the next billion-dollar companies.”

Founding Partner, Reshma Sohoni, added, “Our portfolio now stands at over 230 companies from around the world and we are incredibly proud of the successes and growth of Seedcamp-backed companies. We continue to be one of the most active early-stage investors in fintech and companies we’ve supported in this sector are achieving fantastic results. We’ve been on the lookout for industries that are ripe for disruption and companies we believe will shake-up the market. Last month we saw InsurTech startup, Finance Fox, close £28m series A – the largest of its kind for the sector.”

“Every day people are using products and services that have been backed by Seedcamp and we’re very excited to see what the latest teams in our portfolio will go on to achieve.”
