About me
I’m an attorney, and I was lucky to join Seedcamp’s Legal team in December 2022. Before joining Seedcamp, I completed an MBA program at the University of Edinburgh. Prior to that, I worked in law firms and in-house legal departments and led teams focused on legal services, digital transformation, and automating legal processes. My most recent role was as Operations Manager and Senior Consultant at Capgemini.
I’m originally from the beautiful country of Guatemala (which I highly recommend you visit!). In my younger days, I was part of the national karate team. Nowadays, I’m devoted to yoga and learning to enjoy running. I love reading and the many lives you get to live through books! I have a soft spot for animals and love traveling to explore new cultures and cuisines, but nothing gets me going like sharing a meal and having a good laugh with friends and family.
From Day One
My ultimate goal at Seedcamp is to give our founders the best possible experience when working with legal, from deal-related matters during our first check, to navigating the legal nuances throughout the company’s lifecycle, all the way to exits.
I trained in coding years ago and loved the problem-solving and algorithm design it involved. I enjoy a challenge, and I’m obsessed with understanding how things work and how to improve them. At work, I channel that passion into leading the optimisation, digital transformation, and automation of the legal team and its workflows at Seedcamp.
My additional responsibilities vary from collaborating with law firms within the startup ecosystem, to monitoring and reporting on fund assets.
I enjoy exploring the synergies between finance and legal aspects of our portfolio, aiming to optimise deal terms to maximise value for all stakeholders. I also have a weird and rarely shared passion for building accessory financial models, from cap table simulations to waterfalls.
