About me
I joined Seedcamp in 2023 after spending the start of my career at BCG and Fuse Energy.
Tech and startups weren’t always on my radar and I originally had big plans to be a journalist. I loved the process of truth-seeking, digging up uncomfortable secrets and telling unlikely stories… you can see where this is going.
Instead, I ended up at BCG where I learnt to sit up straight and tee up powerpoint presentations. Consulting wasn’t really for me and moved over to Fuse which was pre-everything back then and is now (still) the UK’s fastest growing business.
I’ve mostly been based in London (with a brief stint in Russia) and my family are British via South Africa, Ireland and India. In a previous life I boxed and played rugby but can now be found running on Hampstead Heath or having a cold lager in a North London pub.
From Day One
One thing I took away from Fuse is that grit and resilience trumps everything. I often come back to the difference between ambition (where you want to be) and drive (what you do everyday to get there) and I spend most of my time trying to find incredible founders in possession of the latter.
