Across almost two decades of Seedcamp, we’ve seen how much the right first hire matters.
Early hires shape the culture, define the product, and decide how fast the company moves. Getting it wrong can be existential.
Metaview founders Siadhal and Shahriar have spent eight years obsessing over how to protect companies from this very scenario: How to make sure that no bad hiring decisions are ever made. Their dedication impressed us back in 2018, and continues to impress us today.
That’s why we’re thrilled to back Metaview as they raise a $60 million Series C, led by Insight Partners, alongside GV, Intrepid Growth Partners, Vertex Ventures US, Plural, Garuda Ventures and us at Seedcamp. It comes just a year after their last raise and takes their total funding to $110 million.
We’ve proud to have backed Metaview consistently since day one.

Technology has long underserved recruitment. While almost every other part of company building has been optimised, hiring still runs on fragmented, manual processes and gut feeling, with very little valuable data being captured. As Siadhal Magos, CEO and co-founder of Metaview, puts it: “The best engineering teams have already moved from writing code by hand to orchestrating AI agents that do the work. Recruiting is next.”
Siadhal and Shahriar Tajbakhsh founded Metaview in 2018. Both cofounders were operators in high-pressure, high-calibre companies like Palantir and Uber. Even there, hiring processes were convoluted and imprecise. Siadhal and Shahriar set out to change it.
From its first AI notetaker, Metaview has grown into a full agentic recruiting platform. It started by capturing the interview. Years of that data gave Metaview a head start when LLMs arrived. The technology was a perfect fit for exactly the conversations it had been collecting. Now, it offers AI agents capable of sourcing, screening and interviewing candidates alongside hiring teams, on a scale impossible to expect human experts to achieve. As Shahriar put it on This Much I Know: “If a human was to pay this much attention to every candidate, they’d need 120 years.”

Today, more than 7,000 companies now rely on Metaview, from fast-growing startups to the Fortune 100. Customers including Deel, Affirm, Navan and Replit use it to build their teams. Some have cut time-to-hire by more than 75%.
The Series C funds three priorities as Metaview enters a new stage of growth. First, Metaview is bringing Fillmore to general availability, alongside new specialist agents. The second priority is growing the team from 80 to 250 people by the end of next year, including a new New York office alongside the existing hubs in London and San Francisco. The third is to continue to build 10x Recruiting, Metaview’s community and training programme for talent professionals. It centres on what Metaview calls talent engineering, the discipline of building and running AI-powered hiring systems.
Hilary Howe, Partner at Seedcamp, said: “Siadhal and Shahriar saw early that hiring conversations were its most valuable and most wasted data, and they executed relentlessly on that insight. It’s been fantastic to watch them build on that foundation to power AI agents across the entire hiring process, driving real impact for their customers.”

“We’ve backed the team in every round since their 2018 pre-seed, and we’re thrilled to do so again with our Select fund.”
