Sales teams spend hours every day on outbound calls. More often than not, those calls are pointless: 80% of first attempts lead straight to voicemail.
The result? A demotivated, frustrated workforce, and valuable human capital spent on low-value, repetitive tasks, instead of pursuing qualified leads that could drive real growth.
While recent voice AI models have reached production-ready quality, the infrastructure necessary to deploy them at scale hasn’t kept pace. Existing solutions frequently break down in production: getting stuck in IVR trees, failing voicemail detection, dropping calls, or looping endlessly when edge cases appear.
This is why we’re excited to lead Revox’s latest $3M pre-seed funding round.
Revox has built a developer-first API that specifically addresses the critical gaps that have held voice agents back from real-world applications.
Revox’s platform provides three essential layers that make outbound AI calling work reliably at scale:
- Self-improving agents (with humans in the loop): Revox uses reasoning models to analyse every call, and detect when something doesn’t go as expected. When errors occur, the system generates clear, actionable explanations for human operators, making it simple for them to refine the agent’s prompt or knowledge base.
- Real-world call orchestration: Revox’s system is capable of navigating all disruptions, including signal failures, dropped calls and unexpected disconnections.
- Low-latency conversations: Latency is what makes or breaks customer trust, especially in outbound calls. Revox have deployed dedicated instances of large language and voice models, guaranteeing speed of execution for every call.

The founding team brings deep expertise in AI and AI agent development. Aric Lasry was the first engineer at Dust, a custom AI agent platform, while Jean-Baptiste de La Fage previously founded PLUME, an AI-powered geospatial platform, backed by Y Combinator.
Before founding Revox, the founders built voice agents in a consulting capacity for various companies, where they directly experienced the limitations of the existing infrastructure. This led them to develop their own orchestration layer, which became the foundation for Revox.
Initially targeting the US market, Revox is currently focused on a small number of high-impact, trust-sensitive use cases, where AI voice agents can create immediate and measurable value, freeing up human agents to focus on more complex, strategic work.
In debt collection, Revox’s agents place polite, empathetic calls at the right time, including outside office hours, reassuring customers and securely collecting payments over the phone. For lead qualification, agents follow up with inbound leads at the optimal moment across time zones, qualifying intent, answering questions, and booking meetings seamlessly via Calendly. And in hiring, Revox handles first-round candidate pre-qualification, running natural, conversational interviews that surface fit and experience in minutes, not hours.
Sia Houchchangnia, Partner at Seedcamp, welcomed the news: “We’re extremely excited to back Aric and Jean-Baptiste. From our first interaction, they demonstrated a remarkably granular understanding of the voice agent infrastructure landscape — knowing the existing players and trade-offs inside out. Combined with their strength as builders, this uniquely positions them to build best-in-class voice AI infrastructure and make it accessible through a truly developer-first, Stripe-like experience.”
“What really stood out was how precisely they identified the nuances that matter in production — from sub-second answering machine detection to intelligent orchestration and retry logic. The platform they’ve already shipped is best in class on the capabilities that turn early promise into reliable systems.”
Houchangnia added: “We believe we’re only scratching the surface of what’s possible with voice AI agents, and we’re confident adoption will accelerate dramatically in the years ahead.”
“Revox is exceptionally well placed to power that shift.”
We’re thrilled to lead this raise alongside Weekend Fund, Drysdale, Purple, OPRTRS CLUB, Firedrop, Kima, Tiny VC, and business angels like Stanislas Polu and Gabriel Hubert (Founders of our portfolio company Dust), as well as Alex Yazdi (YG).

“We’re hyper-focused on customer learning and speed of iteration,” said Aric Lasry, Founder of Revox.
“We couldn’t dream of a better partner than Sia and Seedcamp. They’ve unlocked key opportunities for us (even in the middle of the night) and helped us learn from the market at an incredible pace.”
