Seedcamp leads Topograph’s €2M seed to fix the broken infrastructure behind global KYB

20.03.2026

A fintech can move money across borders in seconds. Verifying the business receiving it can take weeks.

Anyone who has run KYB at scale knows the reality: register data is local, fragmented, and locked inside legacy systems.

The legacy data bureaus are expensive, opaque on provenance, and too slow for real-time workflows. None of them can deliver the speed and transparency that modern cross-border compliance actually demands – and that’s where Topograph comes in.

Founded in 2024, Topograph was built by Pierre-Henri Janssens and Hugo Dellinger  (whose fintech experience includes co-founding the payments startup 1POINT6 within BNP Paribas) alongside Emmanuel Scharff, who served as CFO of leading European legaltech Doctrine for six years.

Topograph provides instant, reliable, and affordable access to business register data from 40 countries, connecting users directly to official sources via API and web application.

Its customers – fintechs including Lemonway and Hero, and compliance software vendors such as Spektr, Dotfile, and Aiprise – report a 70% reduction in KYB verification time and a 30% increase in conversion within their B2B acquisition funnels.

“With the right data, leading financial institutions take compliance from an operational topic to a competitive advantage — and Topograph delivers exactly that. Banks and vendors automating compliance processes need proven data to ground AI agents in truth, and the Topograph team has built precisely the infrastructure the market has been missing,” said Sia Houchangnia, Partner at Seedcamp.

“Trade is global but business registration is local, making cross-border customer onboarding a structural bottleneck for any fintech seeking to scale internationally,” said Emmanuel Scharff, COO of Topograph. “Regulators expect high-quality data, continuous monitoring of customer bases, and document-based evidence, which incumbent data providers cannot offer at scale.”

“Our infrastructure consolidates and enriches fragmented data from hundreds of official sources. The result is instantly accessible and verifiable intelligence,” said Hugo Dellinger, CTO. “Clients bring authoritative data into their existing procedures through a fast and secure API.”

“We have seen strong traction with compliance orchestrators and payments service providers,” added Pierre-Henri Janssens, CEO. “This funding will be used to bring Topograph to global coverage and push further on our AI capabilities for data extraction and enrichment from heterogeneous sources.”
