👋 About us

We are Seedcamp, Europe’s original early-stage fund. We partner with the brightest minds in tech; people with the grit and vision to forge the future of technology and society, one idea at a time.

We started out in 2007 and now have a portfolio of over 500 companies who contribute to the growth of the Seedcamp Nation. Some of the world’s most successful software businesses started out with us including the likes of: Wise, UiPath, Revolut, Pleo and Synthesia.

We are a diverse team of 18 covering Investment, Legal, Finance and Platform, all driven by the impact our work has on defining the future of the technology ecosystem. In our view, the best work involves coming together, whilst offering flexibility. As a result, we operate out of our Central London offices in the heart of Soho, three days a week.

🎯 About the role

We’re looking for a hard-working, intellectually curious and passionate individual to support our Investment team.

You’ll be on first-name terms with our phenomenal network of founders, and be deeply exposed to the way we think, work, and invest. Below are some key activities you can expect to get involved with:

  • Supporting our investment process administratively and, where appropriate, with research and analysis on a particular sector, technology or business.
  • Review inbound investment opportunities through our platform, presenting relevant companies to the wider investment team.
  • Assist with collation, cleaning, and presentation of data related to investments and the portfolio.
  • Use your initiative to identify a sector, technology or market of strategic interest for Seedcamp and own a research piece, data project or event related to it.
  • Identify individual founder needs and connect them with relevant investors + mentors from our network.
  • Research and write up vertical-related deep dives that we can share on our Seedcamp blog and socials.

  • You are obsessed by startups and have a clear finger on the pulse of the most exciting new technologies being built in Europe.
  • You enjoy trying out new apps and software (and maybe want to build your own in the future!)
  • A track record of executing and getting stuff done.

🔭 What follows the programme?

The Visiting Analyst programme at Seedcamp is a shortcut to supercharging your network and learning. The club is small, but former Seedcamp Analysts have accomplished a whole host of impressive things from starting their own ventures (including Citymapper) through to joining top venture capital firms (including Point9, Episode 1, Headline & Tiny VC).

This role is a six month placement and we don’t expect to hire the Visiting Analyst at the conclusion of that term. Nevertheless, we believe there is no better place to learn and gain exposure to how a Venture Capital fund operates, with real opportunity to contribute and add value to our team.

🚀 Sounds like you?

If you think your skillset and personality match the requirements for our Visiting Analyst role, please complete the application form linked below. Applications can take up to 30 minutes so make sure to factor this in when applying.

Please note that this role is based in London, and will require an on-site presence at least 3 days per week.
