What is a Mini Seedcamp? Mini Seedcamp is a one-day event aimed to accelerate up to 10 local startups through masterclasses, mentoring, networking and immediate feedback to their pitches from the Seedcamp team and international investors. We want to tell you more about Seedcamp, find local startups to fast track to our Seedcamp Weeks, and help you build a better business. Mini Seedcamp Helsinki will take place on November 12th. Applications close on October 30th so be sure to apply before that date.
Who will attend? The audience is made up of serial entrepreneurs, product and business development experts, VC’s, angels and startups. Moreover, several mentors form the Seedcamp Mentor network will attend and share insights and give feedback to the local startups.
Schedule The format comprises of a masterclass by Seedcamp, short presentations by all the participating teams to a panel who will provide immediate feedback. For this Mini Seedcamp, there will also be mentoring sessions with people from the Seedcamp mentoring network.
The schedule also includes networking and a panel debate including Q&A. The panel is designed to reflect the local ecosystem, and bring some actionable insights for all attending guests.
Who should apply? As always at Seedcamp, we’re looking for ambitious founders who want to build global startups. Our focus is on mobile and web, and we look for founders who use technology to disrupt interesting industries. What happens next? Local winners will be invited to participate in Seedcamp Week London taking place in January 2014. Here you’ll will spend 5 days with us and meet over 300 of our mentors. At Seedcamp Week London the next members to join the Seedcamp Family will be decided.
