About the speakers:

April Hoffbauer, VP People at Maze April is the driving force behind the People initiatives at Maze and is currently building the foundations to support the company’s next phase of growth and beyond. Having worked at remote companies for many years, April is no stranger to a distributed workforce and has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to successful remote work. She’s held leadership positions at global remote companies, including time building processes for a team growing from 400 to 1300 employees across 68 countries, and now at Maze scaling the team from 25 to 160 in 36 countries.

Maria Campbell, COO (ex-VP People) at Griffin Maria built a career working in high-growth tech startups, developing people processes & frameworks and building culture. She is recognised as one of the top 25 women leaders in fintech in 2022 and was the first people leader at GoCardless, Monzo, Snyk and Permutive. She is currently COO (ex-VP People) at Griffin. Her focus is on developing human-first structures that make work an enjoyable place to be, and as fulfilling as possible – and growing teams quickly, healthily and deliberately!

Nora Teglasi, Head of People and Culture at StudentFinance Nora’s passion and strength is building extraordinary teams and infrastructures from scratch and her experience stretches across multiple industries including influencer marketing, crypto and buy now / pay later companies. In the last three companies, she was the first HR hire. As Head of People & Culture, she built high performing People teams and grew the companies from 20 to 200+. Nora worked with talent from 40 nationalities both in person and fully remote. In her view, the secret sauce is kindness and high touch people processes.
